Yahweh's Sword 雅伟之剑

Summary. Yahweh's Sword has no accounts, no advertising, no in-app purchases and no analytics. Your notes, highlights, bookmarks, reading position and settings stay on your device.
Data stored on your device. Notes, highlights, bookmarks, search history and settings are saved locally. We do not receive them. You can export them to a file and import them on another device yourself.
Calendar and widget (1.8.2). The dates you add to the calendar and its settings are saved on your device only and included in Export my data. The Hebrew word of the day widget reads what the app saves for it on the same device; nothing is sent anywhere.
Crash reports. If the app hits an unexpected error, it may send one report to our server (hosted on Netlify) that is forwarded by email (via Resend) to support@yahwehword.com. It contains: the error message and stack trace, app version, operating system, language setting, a random per-launch session ID, the name of the screen you were on, the last few screen names you visited, and screen size/OS version/user agent. It does not contain your notes, highlights, searches or any text you typed. It is used only to fix bugs.
Network requests. The app downloads Bible and study data from our data host (yswords-data.netlify.app), and checks GitHub (api.github.com) for new versions. These servers see your IP address as any website does. We do not link it to you.
Feedback. If you use the feedback form, what you type, including any contact details you choose to give, is emailed to us to reply and improve the app.
Diagnosis IDs and voluntary reports. Each installation keeps a random, resettable diagnosis ID locally. When you explicitly send feedback or a diagnostic report, it can include that ID, app version, platform, delivery channel and up to 20 recent update, audio or companion status codes. These details help us find the report in the admin portal; they do not include hardware identifiers, passwords, notes or searches. Resetting the ID does not delete earlier reports. Contact support to request removal of a report.
Advertising, tracking, sale of data. None. We do not sell personal data and do not track you across apps or sites.
Children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Bible texts. Copyright and licence notices for each text are in the app's About page.
Changes. If this changes, we will update this page and its date.
