Summary. Yahweh's Words has no advertising, no in-app purchases and no tracking. You can use it without an account, in which case your data stays on your device. If you choose to sign in, your reading data is synced to our cloud so it follows you across devices.
Without an account. Notes, highlights, bookmarks, reading plan progress, search history and settings are stored on your device only. Profiles on the device are a local way to keep people's data apart; they are not accounts.
If you sign in (optional). You can sign in with Google, Sign in with Apple on iOS or macOS, or with an email and password, through Google Firebase Authentication. We receive your sign-in identifier (email address, including a private relay address if you use one, and, where provided, your name and profile photo) and store it with Firebase. When signed in, the following are synced to Firebase (Google Cloud), under an ID tied to your account: highlights, notes and note titles, bookmarks, search history, reading position and app preferences. This data is used only to show it back to you on your other devices. Google processes it under its own terms and privacy policy.
Deleting your data. On iOS or macOS, go to Settings → Account → Delete account to remove your account and synced data. You can also email support@yahwehword.com from the address you signed in with and we will delete it. Signing out stops syncing; data on your device stays until you clear it.
AI features. If you use AI search or AI word explanations, the text you enter (such as a search phrase or a word) is sent to our server and then to Google's Gemini service to produce the answer. Do not enter personal information into these boxes.
Crash reports. If the app hits an unexpected error, it may send one report to our server, forwarded by email (via Resend) to support@yahwehword.com. It contains: the error message and stack trace, app version, operating system, language, a random per-launch session ID, screen names, a short trail of recent navigation and playback events (such as which sermon audio ID was played), and screen size/OS version/user agent. It does not contain your notes, highlights or searches.
Embedded media. Some pages play YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) or SoundCloud content. Those providers may set cookies or collect data under their own policies when you play it.
Network requests. The app downloads Bible and study data from yswords-data.netlify.app, checks GitHub (api.github.com) for new versions in the versions distributed outside the Microsoft Store, and loads fonts from Google Fonts on some platforms. These servers see your IP address as any website does.
Feedback. If you use the feedback form, what you type is emailed to us.
Diagnosis IDs and voluntary reports. Each installation keeps a random, resettable diagnosis ID locally. When you explicitly send feedback or a diagnostic report, it can include that ID, app version, platform, delivery channel and up to 20 recent update, audio or companion status codes. Words reports can also include the random IDs of recently connected watches. These details help us find the report in the admin portal; they do not include hardware identifiers, passwords, notes or searches. Resetting the ID does not delete earlier reports. Contact support to request removal of a report.
Optional watch and car controls. A paired watch or car interface can receive the daily verse and audio titles, playback position and control commands from your phone. A watch keeps the last daily verse locally for offline display. Account credentials, notes and bookmarks are not transferred to the companion. The app does not record microphone audio.
Advertising, tracking, sale of data. None. We do not sell personal data.
Children. Everyone, including children, can read the Bible in the app without an account, and in that case none of your reading data leaves your device. Signing in is optional and is meant for people old enough to hold a Google or email account (13+, or with a parent's permission). We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child through sign-in; if you believe a child has signed up, email us and we will delete the account.

Changes. If this changes, we will update this page and its date.

AI 功能。 使用 AI 搜索或 AI 释义时，你输入的文字（如搜索词或词语）会发送到我们的服务器，再转给 Google Gemini 生成结果。请勿在这些输入框中填写个人信息。
崩溃报告。 应用遇到意外错误时，可能向我们的服务器发送一份报告，并经 Resend 转发到 support@yahwehword.com。内容包括：错误信息与堆栈、应用版本、操作系统、语言、每次启动随机生成的会话编号、页面名称、最近的导航与播放记录（如播放了哪一篇讲道的编号），以及屏幕尺寸、系统版本和 User Agent。不包含你的笔记、标注或搜索内容。
内嵌媒体。 部分页面会播放 YouTube（youtube-nocookie.com）或 SoundCloud 的内容，这些服务商在你播放时可能按其自身政策设置 Cookie 或收集数据。
网络请求。 应用从 yswords-data.netlify.app 下载圣经与研经数据；在 Microsoft Store 之外分发的版本还会访问 GitHub（api.github.com）检查新版本；部分平台会从 Google Fonts 加载字体。这些服务器会像任何网站一样看到你的 IP 地址。

诊断编号与自愿反馈。 每个安装在本机保存一个随机、可重设的诊断编号。仅在你主动发送反馈或诊断报告时，报告可附带该编号、应用版本、平台、更新渠道及最近最多 20 条更新、音频或配套设备状态代码。Words 的报告还可附带最近连接过的手表的随机编号。这些信息帮助我们在管理后台查找报告，不包含硬件标识、密码、笔记或搜索内容。重设编号不会删除以前的报告；如需删除报告，请联系支持。
可选手表与车载控制。 配对的手表或车载界面可从手机接收每日经文、音频标题、播放位置及控制指令；手表会在本机缓存最近的每日经文供离线阅读。账户凭据、笔记和书签不会传给配套设备。应用不会录制麦克风音频。
广告、追踪与出售数据。 一律没有。我们不出售个人数据。
儿童。 所有人（包括儿童）都可以不注册账号阅读圣经，此时你的阅读数据不会离开本机。登录是可选的，适合已达到 Google 或邮箱账号年龄要求的人（13 岁以上，或经家长同意）。我们不会有意通过登录收集儿童的个人信息；如果你认为有儿童注册了账号，请来信告知，我们会删除。

更新。 如有变化，我们会更新本页及日期。
