Heart for China: The Living Lord and the Urgency of the Gospel (Part 1)

Pastor Eric H.H. Chang · Preached · Parts A/B

Before I left Hong Kong, just a few short time before I left Hong Kong to come to Australia,在江牧师来到澳洲之前呢,他是从香港来到着的, and I received a tape sent in an envelope.他收到了一个信封,信封里面呢,有一个录音带, and for some time I didn't have time to listen to it,因为很长一段时间呢,他没有机会来听到这个录音带,应该是什么, but one day I determined I took a listen to this tape,但是有一天呢,他有机会了呢,他把这个录音带拿出来听一下,Actually I don't know who sent the tape, even now I don't know who sent the tape,直到今天呢,他都不知道是什么人把这个录音带寄给他的,But the person sent the tape because that person knew that I have also a burden to reach the Muslim people,因为呢,寄这个录音带的人呢,知道在张牧师的心底里面呢,有一个很深的愿望,是要向这些穆斯林的人查语音,and what was in this tape was a testimony of somebody who went with his whole familyto a Muslim country to bring the gospel,那么这个录音带里面是什么东西呢,是一个人的见证,他和他的全家移民到了一个穆斯林去居的地方,向他们去传福音,Now it's very difficult to preach the gospel to Muslims,向穆斯林,向回教徒传福音是非常困难的,there has to be power from God,要有神那里来的力量,才能够打扣他们的这个障碍,so when he went to this country, and the people heard that he was a Christian, coming to preach to the Muslims, nobody wanted to talk to him,当他们移民到这个国家的时候呢,旁边的人知道他们是基督徒来查语音的,没有人来听他们的,but he had such a love for these people,he wanted to bring the gospel to them,但是他对他们是充满了慈爱,他有这个愿望要向他们来查语音,so one day he stood in the middle of the town on the bridge,他有一天呢,站在这个正常的中间,站在一个墙上面,and he said,if you don't want to listen to me,then I'm going to jump into this river,他说,你如果要不听我所讲的话,我就从这个墙上跳而去掉到河里面去,he wanted to show them how desperate and how determinedhe wanted to preach the gospel to them,他要接着这个行动呢,来向这些穆斯林表现呢,他是多么迫切地希望呢,把福音传给他们,那么他们呢,就很多人就觉得这个行为是非常的奇怪,就很多人呢,围在旁边想要来听听这个有毛病的人,到底是想要讲些什么东西,so he took the opportunity as the crowds gathered around, right in the heart of the city, and began to preach to them about Jesus,那么就在这个城市的中间,就在这个之中心的地方,就有很多人聚集在他的周围呢,来听他讲主耶稣的事情,and having preached this message,he fulfilled his promise, and jumped into the river,那么他传完了福音以后呢,他就跳到河里面去了,so that he showed that he wasn't just an empty threat,he was really going to do it,他告诉他们说呢,他原来说的话呢,并不是来骗他们,要吓唬他们的,I so much want to bring you the gospel, the jumping down into the river, very dirty river,it's fine with me,他就想要告诉这些周围的人呢,说对他们来说,他要把福音传给他们更重要,跳到那个很脏的河里面呢,对他来说呢,是代表不息的,and the result was that the people began to take notice of this person, and were more and more willing to listen,那么因为这个人的这个言行举止呢,就越来越多的人呢,对他感进去,and one day the head of the local mosque, who was called an imam, challenged him to kind of debateMuslim against Christian in the mosque,那么后来呢,这个亲征寺里面呢,管制的这个人呢,就来找他,所以要跟他来辩论,since people were beginning to get interested in him, maybe the imam thought, imam thought it better to crush him in front of the mosque,of the people of the mosque, and show that Christianity is not much for Islam,因为越来越多人呢,对基督教好像感兴趣了,这个亲征寺里面这个人呢,就感到紧张了,说最好要把这个人压制下去,这样子的话,他会让他周围的人也看到呢,基督教和伊斯兰教比起来呢,是没办法比的,那么就有很多很多人呢,聚集在这个亲征寺的里面,那么这两个人呢,就开始了辩论,but then suddenly in the midst of all thistheoretical talk, talking of different religions,那么他们一开始呢,都是在谈理论上的东西,讲两个宗教有什么不同,there came a man carrying a little child in his arms,那么在这其中呢,就有一个人进来,在他手上呢,抱了一个小小的一个孩子,this child was probably no more thanthree, four years old,就小孩子呢,可能也只有三四岁左右,but it's born crippled, this little girl could never, cannot walk,但是这个小姑娘呢,从来没有走过路,因为她呢,出生的时候呢,就是残废,and he came to this picture,他来到这个基督徒的这个宣教士的面前,and said, can your Jesus heal my little girl? Wow,that was a challenge he wasn't prepared for.这是一个很大的挑战,他完全没有做到这样的一个准备,in front of all this crowded mosque,Muslim people, the challenge was, let's not talk religion,那么在这么大一群的这个回教徒的面前,在清真寺里面,面对这个传教士的挑战是,你不要讲理论上的东西,can your Jesus heal my little girl?that's the important question for me,not all this theory going on there. now this preacher never thought of himself, has any gift of healing. in the face of this challenge,he could only cry out,for Jesus, what am I going to do? even if he could win the debate,he would have lost the day. he could only cry out,and then he said, all right,I'll pray for this little girl. so in front of all these people,he prayed for this crippled girl. after having prayed, nothing seemed to happen. and this, the father of this girl, very graciously, thank you, anyway, thank you, maybe this is too difficult for Jesus to do. Jesus is very great, but maybe this is too much,I ask too much. because in the Quran,it does speak of Jesusas healing the sickand raising the dead, you see,因为在这个可兰经里面,有记载耶稣以前能够医治人,it never says that Muhammadever did anything,he never performed a miracle. but I have seen,I've read the Quran myself,so I know, there it says,Jesus did mighty works, including raising the dead. That was probably the reasonwhy this man brought his little girl, and since this is a preacher of Jesus, well, maybe Jesus will work through him. And so seeing that nothing appeared to happen,he just graciously thanked the preacher, and walked the way,and then having walked some distance,he stopped. Having walked the distance,he stopped and turned around. And he said to the preacher,Could you bless my family? It was remarkable. He didn't see the child healed, but he asked for blessing for the whole family. So of course the preacher said,Yes, certainly I'm grateful for your whole family. So once again, the man very graciously thanked the preacherfor praying for his family, turned around and started walking away. But in his heart,he was thinking, all the people sitting here will say, this was too difficult for Jesus,to heal the church. And as he walked away, the child was over his shoulder, and he saw this, the big eyes of this little girlstill looking at him. And then he noticed, that the child was pushing the father away,as he was walking away. And was kept on pushing him,as he was walking towards the door, pushing him away. So finally the father being pushed like that, put the child down. And the child started to walk. The father looked at a glass. This child cannot even stand, never mind walk. And yet he was standing and walking. The scene was almost finished,he was almost out of the door.It looked like the battle was lost. And then the whole mosque gasped in astonishment,And began to say,Jesus is real. It was,This became the total turning pointof that ministry,in that Muslim country,in East Africa. As a matter of fact, even the imam himselffinally came to the Lord. And they warned him thatif he started preaching the gospel, that they will kill him,and certainly the family will kill him. The mum said,Well, go ahead. And he said to the preacher,I want to go back to Afghanistanto my teachersand tell them about Jesus. And one day when he went to look for the imam, the imam was gone. And the family told him,we've deported him.We decided not to kill him,we deported him. And he asked, where did you deport him to? Afghanistan. The very place he wanted to go. And this woman worked all her life long, serving and preaching. And it struck me particularly, a matter of particular interest to me is that this woman was so greatly used by God, and yet I never heard of her name. In the event, I saw this woman who was a very important person, but many people didn't hear her name. All her life, she remained single, everywhere she went, preaching the gospel. And with such power and such effect, that multitudes came to the Lord. And maybe she served in the Phuken area, she was from Phuken.

Which actually is the province where my father comes from. Although she did also go to other parts of the country. And one time she worked with that great servant of the Lord, John Song. And one time she worked with that great servant of the Lord, John Song. And one time she worked with that great servant of the Lord, John Song. In fact, she was his translator by preference.

He preferred to have her whenever possible as a translator. And as a result, she was able to witness God's power working through this remarkable servant of the Lord. So when I read of this account, I heard of this account on the tape about what happened in the mosque.

Then when I read of this sister's testimony, she recorded a similar account. In fact, there were so many accounts of what the Lord did. I would be talking all afternoon just about the wonders that Jesus worked through his servants, but I was mentioning only one. So the people who did the things that Jesus did was too many.

If we were to talk about the things that Jesus did, we would say that in one occasion, John Song, who actually never claimed to have a healing ministry, So this woman said that this woman was a day to go to the church. And he never said that he could heal people. His ministry was to preach the gospel, but he prayed for anyone who was in need. And every time there would be hundreds of people after a meeting who would come to him to pray for prayer about physical or spiritual matters. So every time there would be a few hundred people who would come to the church.

And all kinds of amazing things were happening because Jesus is the living Lord. So the Lord did the holy things that Jesus did, and one of these things that the sister records, after John Song had prayed for the people, in fact, for hundreds of people to be prayed for, he could only spend a moment for each person as they just passed by in front of him. In one occasion, a child, well, a young person, a young man was pushed in a wheelchair, this time not walking on a wheelchair in front of him. And John Song prayed for him as for all the others, just anointing him with a little oil and praying in the name of the Father, Son, and Spirit. So the Lord did the holy things that Jesus did, and he was pushed further along.

And the sister said to him, well, you have been prayed for, now get out of that wheelchair. Get out of that wheelchair. That's the same thing. That's the same thing. That's the same thing. That's the same thing.

That's the same thing. That's the same thing. Yeah, exactly. Why are you still sitting there? Didn't you hear that he prayed for you? He didn't hear that he prayed for you?

Eighteen, eighteen years. He was born crippled, that never walked in his life. He got no muscles on his legs to walk with. This young man, he was still sitting there. He didn't hear that he prayed for you. But the sister, full of faith, said, stand up.

And this sister's heart is just so big. She said, she already asked you to pray for you. She said, she had to stand up. And he stood up. That's the young man, he stood up. He stood up.

He started to jump up and down on the platform. And the whole congregation were amazed. And the whole congregation were amazed. And the whole congregation were amazed. He was jumping, walking, running. That's her description of it.

And that's the act of creation. You see, you can't jump without no muscles in your legs. And if you don't use your muscles, you know it atrophies. It's just gone. And eighteen years in that nature. Now why am I saying all this?

What has God got to do with the heart for China? Now if you do not know him as the living Lord, How would you have a heart for China? You don't have a living Jesus, a living Lord to bring to China. So if you have a heart for China, it would be for personal reasons, Maybe making money or something else. So when we speak of a heart for China, We are talking about the deep concern and compassion For these people who do not know Jesus. In the year 2002, That is last year, One million Chinese people died of smoking related diseases. For this one million people, not the time isn't short, It's already gone. There are one million people we are never going to reach. When we started, When we first bought the radio station, That is now broadcasting into China every day for four and a half hours. 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 So, over to the last year, the Chinese people have been dying for the whole population of Australia.

There are two thousand million people. That's about the whole population of Australia. There are more than 100 million people who have been dead for all sorts of other reasons, cancer, car accident, whatever you name it, some twenty million or more will be dead. So, every year, the Chinese people have been dying for the whole population of the world. So, the people who have been born are too young for you to reach for many years to come. So, the people who have been born are too young for you to reach for many years to come.

There is an unspeakable feeling in my heart for this reason. When I talk to Christians, don't you think they'd be concerned? When they say that, the people who have been born are too young for the whole world.

I still got this first to do and that first to do and everything first to do. And by the night they finished all the first things they need to do, well, too many million would have passed. And maybe by then they wouldn't go anywhere. I mean, the person who is still waiting would never go anywhere. And the people who are still waiting would never go anywhere. And the people who have been born are too young for the whole world.

They say that they have to do this thing. They have to do this thing. Every day I'm thinking, Lord, how do we reach more people? How do we do it?

Please, tell me. So now we're developing a film project so that by movie we can reach more people, with VCDs to reach people because VCDs got so little, we can just distribute them. By whatever means under the sun, we have to reach them. Now we're starting to use movies, because in the film we can reach many people.

Now VCDs are very便宜, we can use VCDs to transmit the gospel. But if we can use what kind of way, if we can make more people hear the gospel, we should do it. I'm concerned to produce a movie about Jesus in Chinese, with Jesus as a Chinese person. So that people can realize that Jesus is not East, West, North, South.

He is for everyone, including, and especially now for us, the Chinese. We can put that on VCDs. We can distribute it all over China and all over the world. Are we not reaching a lot of people over the radio? Yes, we are reaching over the whole of China by radio. But you can only reach those who turn on their radios.

So that's still a small proportion. We need not just air power as it over the air, we need ground troops. We don't only need to use the sound of the air from the sky to China, but we need to be able to reach the ground troops to China. We have some maybe 200 full-time workers.

So we have 200 people in China. These are not all in China. Some proportion of them are in China. But what is 200 full-time workers for a country of that size? It's scarcely a drop in a bucket. But in China, there are 200 people in China.

It's very anxious. It's very anxious. It's anxious. So I'm very anxious.

It's very anxious. Very anxious. It's very anxious. It's very anxious. So he's so anxious.

Oh yeah, maybe anxious. So he's so anxious. Now, think of this. If somebody here has a heart attack, or has a car accident, exactly what happens? Oh, somebody rings an emergency, an ambulance comes, and everybody rushes there, and there is so much pain. 然后有很多动作, and then you have all these screaming sirens, and they rush him off to the hospital, and a whole team of doctors are waiting there to revive or do whatever is necessary for this person. All this, can I call it fuss? Sorry, YouTube, for one older person, maybe like myself, who's going to be passing on before too long anyway, But all this emergency to keep him alive for a couple of more days, more hours, who knows, or even a few months. All this activity, this dedication, which is to be admired, but all of this, not to mention the expenses involved, Sometimes they have to fly the patient by helicopter to another place if this hospital cannot deal with it. All that expense involved just to keep somebody like me alive for another year or two, maybe even if that much. 什么人跟我讲的, I'm so sorry. Is the physical life so important that no energy and no expense must be spared to keep us alive? And yet, out there are a billion people.

We're not talking about losing physical life alone, be no eternal life for them. A billion people, that is one thousand million, if you know what a billion is. There's no great concern, is there? Do we really believe that Jesus is real? Do we really believe that time is short for every one of us, even if we manage to live to seventy? You know, from the vantage point of seventy, it's really amazing when you look back, And you find that fifty years disappeared, nine years, it's just one blink and fifty years have disappeared. Time is precious for ourselves, it is precious. But what about others?

Now as for time, let me dwell very briefly on another aspect. I don't know if you have heard of the Bible code. Do you have heard of the Bible code? Now it is said that in the Bible there is a hidden code. Which records every significant event that has happened or is happening or will happen in this world. In fact, mathematicians and computer experts. And they said that actually this code could not be discovered until the use of computers. Therefore this code could only be discovered in this present time when advanced computers become very common. These computers process the whole Bible, especially the Old Testament. And on the basis of this discovery, a certain New York Times reporter, who is also himself a Jew, not a Christian. He warned the then Prime Minister of Israel that according to the Bible Code, he would be assassinated at a particular time. Because in the Bible Code, he saw the name of this Prime Minister, Crossed by another word, assassination. So he urgently wrote to the Prime Minister, Rabin, and said, you are going to be assassinated. 如果,when Jonah went to Nineveh to predict that Nineveh was going to be destroyed, it didn't come to pass because the people who repented. 。 and biblical time. Jerusalem, they told me, is the head of the body. So, if Israel does not have Jerusalem, it's like a body without a head. So, that was in 1962. When I came back from Israel, I predicted that very soon, Israel would take Jerusalem. Very very soon. Exactly as I expected they would.

# Heart for China: God's Purpose for China in the Last Days (Part 2)

So now Israel was complete, body and head. Now if you add forty years, the figure so connected to Israel, what do you get? You get 2007. You get 2007. So the Bible code says 2006.

I figured probably more likely 2007. So the Bible code says 2006. But when I reconsidered the matter, I realized we were talking about the same year. Because I said that his date is based on the Jewish date. And the Jewish year starts in what is our end of the year. That is around September, October.

That means it starts in 2006 towards the end of 2006 and goes on to 2007. That means it starts in 2006 towards the end of 2006 and goes on to 2007. So I was somewhat shocked or surprised to find that my approach from a completely different direction for completely different reason ends up with the same conclusion.

And so I impressed with the beyond 2007. But we will be deceived ourselves, if you think 2007 years ago will still be a lot of time. Now when we have a heart for China, a country of that size, and we are looking at four years if 2007 is right.

If we have 2007 years is right, then we will have only 4 years to ask our fellow friends. How can we not be anxious? How can we not be anxious? 1.3 billion people, and we got 4 years.

And everybody is sitting back very very relaxed. Well, I am the only crazy person around here, because I am not relaxed at all. 13 million people, if we want to make it easy to face, how can we do it easy to face? Is it only one person is so nervous?

Every day, every day people are passing away. We are rushing around with ambulances to rescue some folk that might not live for very long. And these people, eternal life is at stake here. All eternity is at stake. And who cares? Every day, there are many people who will lose the life forever.

But we are still waiting for some other things. I can only conclude that most Christians don't believe that time is short. So, they can only do such a decision. The most people is the most important of the Christian is not long. Even more seriously, they don't believe that Jesus is real, that He is alive, that He is the Savior of mankind. So many of the Christian Christians also believe in the world that is the Lord.

When we talk about people, not only we are talking about eternal life, we are saying that Jesus can do something for you in this life as well, not just in eternity. Now, when we say that we say that we are not only able to give them the opportunity for the people of God, and that we can give them the opportunity for the people of God. I just use those two examples of cripples to show you that the spiritual lesson of it is that we are all crippled, born crippled, and it is Jesus who in this life can fix us up spiritually so that we can live in the fullness of life. In the beginning, we talked about the two examples. Two are two born-born people. So, this is the one that represents us all of the people.

We are in the spirit of the Holy Spirit, and we are in the spirit of the Holy Spirit. So, the Holy Spirit is able to give us the whole life of the Holy Spirit. Now, have you experienced what Jesus can do in your life? Have you experienced what Jesus can do in your life? If you don't experience anything that Jesus can do in your life, then obviously you've got nothing to give to China. So, obviously, even if you are concerned, there's nothing you can do.

You've got nothing to give. Because if you haven't experienced it, then you've got nothing to give us the whole of the world. You may have nothing to give us the whole of the world. You may have nothing to give us the whole of the world. And the Holy Spirit is no one of the things that Jesus can do in your life. He can take your crippled life, my crippled life with one touch, and we are made whole.

Jesus can take our non-functional lives, sitting in a wheelchair, unable to function freely. And He makes new people in this life, not just in eternity in heaven sometime. He can take our own life, not just in eternity in heaven sometime. And He can take our own life, and we can give our own life. And in the last few days here in Sydney, I've been sharing my own experiences of what God has done with me. I know His power in my life.

So in the past few days, the Lord has been sharing my own life. Even healing the sick is something by the grace of God I have also done, though I rarely talk about it. So in the past few days, the Lord has been sharing my own life.

So through me and I claim no healing gifts, tumors have vanished into thin air after prayer. The existence of those tumors were confirmed on X-ray, and people were already booked in for the operation. When it came a few days later for the operation, there was no tumor to operate on. But God has been able to do that. That's when He has been praying for the operation. That's when He has been praying for the operation.

Some of those patients, there were no tumors to operate on. But God has been able to heal these patients. After that, when He has healed these patients, the body has gone through the operation. When He has healed these patients, the body has gone through the operation. There are two x-ray sheets. This one, two weeks ago, this one, and there's no tumors.

One of them is so large in the abdomen of an elderly woman, just vanished into thin air. One of them is so large in the body of an elderly woman. One of them is so large in the body of an elderly woman. Two weeks later, the body of an elderly woman will be gone through the operation of an elderly woman. Jesus, He can do something for us in every respect. Physically, mentally, spiritually.

The people in China need Him. So, Jesus is so large in the body of an elderly woman. He can do so large in our body of an elderly woman. He can do so large in our body of an elderly woman. The people in the body of an elderly woman need Him. The time is fast going and I have to conclude this.

We have to conclude this. Maybe the only thing I have time left to speak about is how is this... What is the purpose of this operation to bring the gospel to China?

So, we will take this a little bit beyond China. We will take this a little bit beyond China. We will take this a little bit beyond China. Our concern for China is not just a matter of patriotism. We... We...

We... We... We... We... We... We...

We... We... We... We... We... We...

We... We... We... We... We... We...

We... We... We... We... We... We...

We... So for many of them, only now they begin to recognize China as a country to which they belong. And many Chinese people born overseas don't recognize China as their own country at all, because they know nothing about China. And that's why they are in the world of foreign countries. That includes our daughter. She grew up in England and Canada.

She doesn't know China. So when we went to Sweden in Hong Kong, we brought our daughter along. To her is completely foreign. So when they went to Hong Kong to Sweden, her daughter just came to Hong Kong, she felt all the things were very strange.

As a matter of fact, she didn't like it. She kept saying, when did we get back to Canada? She said, what's the time we can go to Canada? Well, there is difficulty. So why would such people be interested in bringing the gospel to China?

So why would such people be interested in bringing the gospel to China? They why would such people be interested in bringing the gospel to China? So, let's just say, China is the key to world evangelism. We are not evangelizing China just for its own sake.

So, that's why we are not evangelizing China just for its own sake. So, that's why we are not evangelizing China just for its own sake. If my observations are not entirely incorrect, then I would say that in this last day or these last days, God has China as the means for world evangelism. So, if you see, if we read the situation, like in Deuteronomy chapter 7 verse 7, the Lord said to Israel, I chose you not because you're a great nation. So, in the 7th chapter 7, the 7th chapter 7, the Lord said to Israel, I chose you not because you're the strongest, the smallest, the fewest of the peoples of the earth. Because you're the smallest, the most small, the most small, the most small.

They were chosen not because they were exceptional in size or any other respect. It's just because they were so insignificant in the world. So, Israel, this is the principle in which the Lord works. He takes people who seem to be insignificant and He makes them the channel of His life to people. Because, the Savior of the world, in God's purpose, came from this insignificant little people. So, the world's world's world's people.

So, the world's world's world's people. So, the world's world's world's people. Now, we're in the last days. Now, we're in the last days. Now, we're in the last days. And I have watched how God has prepared China for the task.

Now, the largest nation in the world is going to be given the task of bringing the gospel to the rest of the whole world, because time is short and you need many. Now, the impressed impressed with the impressed impressed with the Everything is turned over and over and over again. How much suffering, how much pain. And I've looked through a whole big section of that, I can tell you, as eye witness of it. And this is the one who's been watching the war right on the streets in front of my place. I've seen soldiers march in, march out right through the street in front of our apartment.

I'm on the house top, in this building, refusing to sleep so I could watch the battle for Shanghai all night. I can see the military in front of Shanghai all night. I've heard the screaming of artillery shells. I've watched bombs coming right down in front of my eyes as they went down to Shanghai北站. The north, the railway station, killing thousands as the bombs came down. I've seen this, the天上掉下来的炸弹,炸死在上海北站那个地方,成千的人.

All this I've watched the people suffer. This one, he's seen the people suffer. I watched the naturalist soldiers retreat out of Shanghai, marching in demoralized formation out down the streets. The war in Japan in the war, the war in the war. And the communist army coming in. The war in the war, the war in the war.

Being foolish and foolhardy, I went out in the street when the fighting was still going on. Because I wanted to have a closer look. He wanted to see the war in the war. He also wanted to see the war in the war. He had to see the war in the war. There was a pillbox, a concrete defense position at the crossroad just outside.

Because in the war in the war, the十字路口 had a碁. and pretty nearly got myself shot. So I saw the suffering from the Japanese invasion, from the civil war and all these things. Our own family was torn to pieces as a result. I can say quite frankly I have never known family life. In the years he was a child's life. My father being a patriot was off to the war against Japan.

He was a communist soldier, he was going to fight for Japan. When he came back, I didn't recognize him. I didn't know this was my father, and most of my youth had passed by then. We spent more or less a few months together before the civil war, and war, Is there some purpose in this? We are so many苦难, so many of the suffering, there is no purpose in this?

When I met the great servant of the Lord, whom I had the privilege to live with for a few months, when he met me, he said, you know, Brother Chang, the Lord knows what he is doing with China. When he met me, he said, you know, Brother Chang, the Lord knows what he is doing with China. When he met me, he said, you know, Brother Chang, the Lord knows what he is doing with China. He said, China is God's vineyard. This is his place.

He said, China is God's vineyard. This is his place. He said, China is God's vineyard. He said, God's country. In fact, that's a Chinese name for China, which was not invented by Christians, by the way. We're from the Chinese, by the way.

We're from the Chinese, the name is God's vineyard. Indeed. And he said, Now God has let all the missionaries go. There are no more missionaries in China. Now he is going to raise up a generation of his people in China.

That's what he said. So, when the people came here, he said, the people who are going to go to the people of China. The people who said, you know, God is going to be in the Chinese people of China. He said, you know, God is going to be in the Chinese people of China. When the missionaries left China, and around 1950, I think the last missionary I knew left in 51, there were about two million Christians in the whole of China.

After 50 years of suffering, what are the number of Christians in China in China? The estimated number of Christians today in China is between 50 and 80 million. And they are increasing every day, every day more people are coming to the Lord. Not to mention, Party members, Communist Party members are coming to the Lord in large numbers.

Including my cousin. In fact, he wanted to be publicly baptized, even of danger to him. He said, No, I'm not going to do it in secret. I want to be baptized where I can be seen.

Multitudes are turning to the Lord, but there is nobody to lead them, nobody to teach them. She without a shepherd. It is a very urgent situation.

I think our time is gone, I need to close. There is one thing more briefly, is that the Chinese people are rather like the Jews. That's comparison. Jews may be the smallest nation, China the biggest nation, but they have so much in common. It's surprising. I sometimes wonder whether somehow secretly we back far away, we came from the same race, from the same stock.

As I mentioned, I lived in Israel for a time as a student. I've been there many times. And I noticed that there are strong similarities between them and us. Let's take one example, Doing business.

Wherever there is business to be made, There will be Jews, 甚至更多 Chinese. The one place the Jews cannot make much money is in China. Because they run into their own communities. You know, The Jews love to study.

They like to do all, You know, They just study, So do the Chinese. You look out here, All these are Chinese scholars. Our church in Montreal are full of PhDs. And when I read the Bible study, I have PhD in chemistry, PhD in physics, PhD in mathematics, All around. There's a wonderful Bible study we have in Genesis. We can really get going. I can tell you, Once they get going, That Bible study really catches fire. As a matter of fact, In our church, We hardly have anybody just with a bachelor's degree.

It will be at least a master's, If not more. Doctor of medicine, Doctor of philosophy, PhD, 。 So is there anything surprising that in the last days, In fact, there is already a movement in the churches in China, which is called the Back to Jerusalem movement. Back to, it's like they are going home. In Jerusalem, in this country, there is a new kind of a潮流, called back to Jerusalem. And you can hear that call through the churches. They are preparing to bring the gospel to the whole world, and especially to Jerusalem.

So many of the Christians have this desire to bring the gospel to the whole world. The more important thing to bring the gospel to the whole world, is to bring the gospel to the whole world. I have traveled through most of the world. I have never heard that anywhere else except in China. So the whole world has been to the whole world.

But in other places, there is no one has heard that. Only in China, there is a kind of a thought. And what about us? Are we ready to move? Are we ready to move? We need, in these last days, total mobilization, as I mentioned on Friday.

We need, in these last days, total mobilization, as I mentioned on Friday. We need, in these last days, total mobilization, as I mentioned on Friday. If we have all the people who are in the world, we will have to bring the gospel back to China. If every committed Chinese Christian was ready to move back into China, I don't think we would have more than a few hundred thousand people. If we have 100 million people from the world to China, we will have to bring the gospel back to China. If you want to send the gospel back to China, you will have to bring the gospel back to China.

That means, if you were part of that one million people, you would have to reach 1,300 people just to reach the whole country. If we are in the 100 million people, you would have to reach 1,300 people just to reach the whole country. If you are in the 100 million people, you would have to send the gospel back to China. If you are in the 100 million people, you would have to send the gospel back to China. And if we could add it in to make up this 1 million, because no way we will have 1 million from overseas. Every Christian in China capable of preaching to make up that 1 million, we still have to face the reality that each person will have to reach within the next 4 years, 1,300 persons each.

If you are in the 100 million people, you would have to send the gospel back to China. It's mind-boggling, isn't it? How can it be done?

How can it be done? And yet, when I come to Australia or Canada, wherever all these first world countries, nobody seems to care very much. The Lord is very sad that when he comes to Canada or Australia, many Christians do this kind of things.

I confess to you, sometimes I am very discouraged. It really makes him very upset. I am so discouraged that I don't want to preach either in Australia or Canada. I confess to you. He is not willing to go to Canada or Australia. But I will just trust the Lord that He will do something.

He also believes in our hearts. In fact, if it is not a persistent invitation of Pastor James and Sister Kathleen and the few co-workers in Sydney, in Melbourne, I wouldn't have come at all to be very very honest with you. Because the good life, the good living has corrupted us to the point we don't care. But I really want to share with you the pain in my heart. The conversation is about the business, about further studies, about getting another few more degrees. I just have no desire to get into that kind of discussion. When we hear our disciples talk about business, talk about how to do some degree.

He doesn't have any interest. Let's be frank. If you can get more degrees, so can I. Why shouldn't I be doing it? If you can get more degrees, then he can get more degrees. When my professor in London offered me to do the doctorate, I turned it down, and he thought I was crazy.

He didn't apply to do the doctorate. He was the one urging me to do it. He didn't apply to do the doctorate. He was the one urging me to do it. My heart was elsewhere. What do I want to do with all this?

Because his heart wasn't in this place. He just had to do the doctorate. He had to do the pills. He had to go out there with the gospel. I couldn't sit there doing this to get a degree for myself. He had to go out there and do this to get a degree for myself.

But then maybe I'm the only crazy guy around this. So, I can ask your forgiveness for being so straightforward and frank. But I hope you understand what's in my heart.

I want to ask Reverend David to close with us in front.
